Beaches & Coves on the Lizard Peninsula
Being a peninsula the Lizard boasts an extraordinary variety of
unspoilt beaches and coves including the world famous, Kynance Cove,
probably Cornwall’s most photographed beach.

All of the beaches and coves of the Lizard Peninsula are within
a short drive of Mullion Cove Hotel with some just a short walk
along the coast path.

The beaches on the west coast are famous for their fine white
sand and deep clear turquoise waters include: Kynance Cove, Polurrian
Cove, Poldhu Cove, Dollar Cove and Church Cove so named after the
church that sits as a famous landmark at the top of the beach.

The beaches on the east coast include Kennack Sands and the wonderful
sandy bays to be found nestled at the bottom of the woodland creeks
around the Helford River.
