Bonython Estate Gardens 1st April – 31st May 2013
This Georgian Manor features an 18th century Walled Garden, Traditional Potager Garden, an orchard of Cornish apple trees, a series of lakes in a sheltered valley and a fernery. It truly is magnificent in springtime!
Trebah Garden 1st April – 31st May 2013 (offer dates)
Receive a £1.50 discount off adult entry at Trebah. This valley garden has over four miles of footpath featuring canopies bursting with exotic blooms, vibrant tunnels of colour leading to a secluded beach, and an array of rhododendrons, magnolias and camellias.
Bonsai Show at Trelissick Garden 18th & 19th May 2013 at 11am
See the Cornwall Bonsai Society’s Annual Show with exhibition plants, handy hints and expert knowledge of how to grow your own. Afterwards you can enjoy its tranquil wooded setting and superb collection of exotic plants.
Glendurgan Garden Open 10.30am – 5.30pm
Discover the beauty of Cornish bluebells in this amazing garden or lose yourself in Glendurgan’s valleys where giant rhubarb and tulip-trees grow, arid plants bask in the sun and ponds teem with wildlife.
Wildlife Celebration at the Lost Gardens of Heligan 11th & 12th May 2013
Receive a discount of £1.50 on entry at Heligan and celebrate the work of the Cornwall Wildlife Trust. Join their staff and volunteers at this event and learn about our local wildlife in workshops and demonstrations, and find out how they work hard to protect it.
