Course Information

Set in a stunning position on the coast, Mullion Cove Hotel offers an excellent variety of nearby exciting painting locations in which you can make the most of Ray’s tuition. Your group will explore Mullion Cove Harbour, Cadgwith, Kynance Cove, Porthleven and the creeks around the Helford Estuary to try and capture the mood and spirit of each place within your work.

A strong advocate of painting en plein air, Ray’s practical painting courses will encourage you to sketch and paint on location as much as possible. Tuition is on a personal level during which you will learn to progress in your chosen medium. The course will also include demonstrations, talks and critiques.

Each course comprises five night’s dinner, bed and breakfast and four full days of painting. Courses start on the Sunday evening at 6.30pm with welcome drinks at reception after which you’ll depart post-breakfast on Friday. Please bring your own painting materials.

Further details about the course and equipment required will be sent out nearer to the course date. Non-painting partners are most welcome.
