Nespresso Coffee Machine
For all you coffee lovers, in your apartment you will find a Nespresso espresso machine. To use this machine remove the water chamber from the rear of the machine, fill with water and replace. On top of the machine press the on button, the four buttons (depicting coffee cups) will flash – indicating the machine is warming up. When the buttons are a solid light lift the silver handle upwards and insert a Nespresso coffee pod (which are with the tea and coffee supplies – a red dot on the capsules indicate decaffeinated coffee) and push the handle back down. Place a cup in front of the machine press the bottom left hand button for a single espresso and the top left-hand button for a double espresso.
If you require hot milk with your coffee, then remove the clear chamber on the front of the machine, remove the lid, top up with milk, replace the lid and put the chamber back onto the machine. After you have inserted the capsule, press the bottom right button for an espresso with hot milk or the top right button for a double espresso with hot milk. Once finished please washout the milk chamber.
Ensure that the appliance is turned on at the wall. Press and hold the on button. Each square at the front of the hob represents one of the four hobs. Locate the hob you require, touch the button to select that hob. Along the front of the hob there are buttons labelled 1(cool) to 9 (hot) press a number suitable for the heat level you require. Should you find the hob locked, press and hold the key button for 5 seconds. Press and hold the on button again to turn the hob off.
The oven can be set to be two different temperatures at one time or be used as one big oven.
To use the oven as one, open the oven door and remove the middle shelf marked “Dual Cook” close the door and turn the knob on the right one click to the right. Then turn the left knob to the right to set the desired temperature.
If you require the oven at two temperatures then first ensure that the middle “Dual Cook” shelf is in the middle of the oven. Twist the left knob two clicks to the left. Then twist the right knob to the desired temperature to set the top oven. After 40 seconds turn the right knob to the desired temperature to set the bottom oven. The display will show you the set temperatures.
If you only want the top half of the oven twist the left knob one click to the right then set the temperature using the right knob. If you only want to use the bottom half of the oven turn the left knob three clicks to the right and use the right knob to set the desired temperature.
Please ensure the oven is switched off after use by turning the left knob to the “o” position.
Ensure that the microwave is turned on at the wall. Open the door and insert what you require to be re-heated. The top knob controls the cooking time – twist to the right to increase the minutes. Once the time is set the microwave will automatically start. The bottom knob controls the power. Turn left for low or defrost, Turn right for higher power.
The fridges should already be on prior to your arrival. If it is not switched on the switch can be located on the wall above the counter top.
Your apartment has a digital smart TV with catch-up services such as BBC iPlayer, ITV hub & more Four. It also has a complimentary Netflix account. To access these features, turn on the TV and press the “Smart Hub” button on the remote and select the service you wish to use. If for some reason the Netflix asks for a password then please call the hotel reception.
Ensure toaster is on at the wall. Insert bread into the toaster and pull up the lever. This will sink the bread into the toaster. The bottom knob/switch controls how many heating elements will be used, so if you are cooking 4 pieces of bread, the picture indicating four slices should be selected. The top knob controls the amount of time the bread will cook. When the time has finished the toast will not pop up, instead push the lever down to remove your toast.
Each room has its own individually controlled electric heating. Ensure that the radiator is turned on at the wall. Press the on button on the control panel. Use the up and down arrows to adjust the heating. If you require additional heating or help programming the radiators then please contact the hotel Reception. To alter the heat, please turn the round controller (located close to the sink)left for colder and right for hotter.
There is an iron and ironing board within your apartment. Laundry can be left at the hotel reception and will be returned within 48 hours, please leave your washing in the bag provided in this folder along with the laundry form.
Firstly ensure that the washing machine is turned on at the wall. Open the door, insert your washing and close the door. Turn the dial to your required setting (setting list below) and press the play/Pause button. To use the dryer, turn to the drying session and press play. There is a clothes airer in the airing cupboard.
To use the dishwasher open the door by pulling the handle down. Scrape any larger pieces of food into the bin and stack the dishwasher. Insert a dishwasher tablet into the grey tablet compartment and close the small grey lid. On top of the door press the on button and press the program button to select the desired program. Press the play button and close the door.
Should you hear the fire alarm sound during your stay please leave the building via the nearest exit. Should you discover a fire, exit the building and call the fire brigade on 999. Do not stop to collect your belongings or re-enter the building. We do check the fire alarm system every Friday afternoon where the alarms are sounded. The NEST system within the apartments will notify the hotel when the alarms are activated by smoke, however, if you do discover a fire – CALL 999 and make your way to the hotel where you are welcome to wait whilst until the all clear is given. The nest system will alert you of there is smoke in other apartments. If you are concerned please call the hotel reception.

Each apartment has one allocated car parking space outside the apartment building. If you have bought more than one car, then you are more than welcome to use the hotels main car park. There is also a public car park 500 yards from the apartments.
Check Out Time
We kindly request that you vacate your apartment by 11.00am on the day of your departure. If you require an extension, please contact the hotel reception and we’ll try our hardest to accommodate this, however, a small charge may occur for later check outs.
Our housekeeping team are available from 8am until 2 pm each day if you require any additional laundry, blankets, pillows…ect. We do not service the apartments daily, however, a mid-stay clean can be arranged at the cost of £75.00. If you are staying with us for two weeks, we will service the apartment half way through your stay at no additional charge. We ask that you do not use the white towels for fake tan or make up removal.
We do have additional keys available if you require more during your stay. We do charge £20 for lost keys.
We apricate all feedback from our guests in efforts to continually improve. In the front of the pack you will find a guest questionnaire for you to complete. Please leave this in the apartment when you depart.
You are more than welcome to make use of any of the services and facilities available at the hotel during your stay. If you wish, you are able to charge meals or items taken at the hotel to your apartment and settle the account upon returning the keys at checkout.

Breakfast is served from 8am until 10am every day in the Atlantic View Restaurant. Breakfast includes an extensive continental buffet in addition to a selection from the hot breakfast menu. The Glenbervie Bar and Bistro is open daily from 10am for morning refreshments and food is served all day from our all day grazing menu from noon until 9pm. If you wish to dine in the Bistro for lunch or dinner, then please book a time with Reception.
Atlantic View Restaurant
The Atlantic View Restaurant is open daily from 6pm until 9pm. If you wish to dine with us then please reserve a table with reception, there is a smart dress code in the restaurant – shorts are not permitted.
Cornish Cream and Afternoon Teas. Delicious homemade Cornish Cream Teas and full Afternoon Teas are available at the hotel in the lounges or the Glenbervie Bistro from midday until 6.pm.
Packed Lunches & Picnics We are happy to provide packed lunches or hamper picnics. An order form is included in this folder, please complete the form and hand it to Reception (or call reception to place your order) before 8pm the evening before you require it.
We will try and accommodate any specials requests, such as birthday cakes, speciality ingredients, flowers, chocolates or favourite items. Please speak to Reception if you have any such requests.
A few options form our Glenbervie Bar menu are available for collection. Please call reception to discuss what we have available.

With our fantastic location for coastal walking Mullion Cove hotel warmly welcomes dogs and on the ground floor we have a dog friendly lounge for dog owners to have lunch, dinner or afternoon teas with their four legged friends.
Mullion Cove Hotel accepts all major credit and debit cards but not diner’s club cards.
Our solar heated pool (open May to October), situated in the garden overlooking the harbour, is a popular place for a refreshing dip and sunbathe. Should the entrance gate be locked a key can be collected from Reception as can towels if required. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8.15am to 10am the pool will be closed for maintenance. Guests are asked to follow the safety procedures which are displayed pool side and sign in and out at Reception. Children MUST be accompanied by an adult.

We are happy to help with porterage on arrival and departure as required please just ask Reception.
Any outgoing post requiring posting that day should be left with Reception please by 2pm. Mullion Post Office is situated in the Old School building on the right hand side as you travel from Mullion Cove to Mullion Village.
They happen in the best of places, should you have any problems we would like the opportunity to resolve it. Please contact the Duty Manager who will be more than happy to discuss any issue you may have in an attempt to rectify any problems.

There is a CoOp in the village and is only a short drive from the apartments . There is also a Sainsbury’s and Tesco in Helston.
For the comfort of all our guests, and in compliance with Health and Safety Legislation 2007, we are a non-smoking environment. A charge of £75 will apply for the refreshing of the fabrics should you be found to have smoked inside the property. Smoking is permitted in the garden and decked area, please use the ashtrays provided. Smoking is NOT permitted on the balconies or Terrace.
It is important for the health, safety and comfort of all guests that the hotel is aware of any viral or bacterial illness amongst guests causing symptoms of vomiting, diarrhoea, nausea, abdominal cramps and headache. If you have any of these symptoms must report to the Reception where an illness report may be completed. All guests are required to report any gastrointestinal illness to the Hotel Manager or reception – even if self-medicating.
We are most fortunate that many of our guests very generously leave a staff gratuity after their stay. A common question is ‘What happens to the tip?’ We operate a tronc system where tips are shared fairly and openly amongst all staff. We believe this is the fairest system as it includes everyone, including some that work behind the scenes, but are nevertheless a vital part of the team.
Another frequently asked question is ‘Can a tip be paid by credit card?’ Yes it can, the payment will be added to the tronc fund whether paid by cash or card.
